Geo-Environmental Consultant

Communications Officer

The Chilterns MS Centre seeks its first ever Communications Officer, a full time role based near Wendover, Buckinghamshire.   Salary:  £25,000 per annum Closing date for applications: Friday 12 January A new and exciting role that will grow with the successful applicant, you will be responsible for the Centre’s day-to-day internal and external communications.  Though a local charity, the Centre is developing a reputation as a trusted voice in regional and national MS conversations.  We have a reputation for delivering high quality services and innovative fundraising events and campaigns.   You will assist the Head of Fundraising & Communications in devising and delivering an ambitious multichannel marketing and communications plan that will reach and motivate existing and prospective supporters, MS members and carers.  Your exceptional written and spoken communication skills will help you create engaging content for all media channels, including digital and social media.  You will help us refresh or reimagine existing communications, including our website.  You will also manage, assist and advise colleagues on the production of effective newsletters, leaflets and other publications.   We are very excited to be recruiting a Communications Officer; you will play an important role at the charity. Corporate Fundraiser

The Chilterns MS Centre seeks its first ever Corporate Fundraiser, a full time role based near Wendover, Buckinghamshire.  Salary:  £28,000 per annum  Closing date for applications:    Friday 12 January A new and exciting role, you will maximise corporate fundraising income for the Chilterns MS Centre and be the charity’s account holder for all business relationships.  You will work with the Head of Fundraising & Communications to devise an ambitious corporate fundraising strategy which you will deliver, motivating existing and reaching new corporate supporters.  Whilst providing an outstanding level of relationship management and support to corporate supporters, you will  –          run the charity’s Corporate Friends programme, including regular networking events –          maximise corporate event sponsorship –          encourage companies to participate in relevant events  –          support employee fundraising initiatives –          manage corporate donors’ gifts in kind –          secure charity of the year partnerships –          raise the Chilterns MS Centre’s profile locally by attending networking groups, awards ceremonies etc  We are very excited to be recruiting a Corporate Fundraiser; you will play an important role at the charity.
